PABSS Training: Understanding Autism and Neurodiversity
Our half-day (3 hour) interactive training session is designed for families, carers, and professionals seeking deeper insight into autism and neurodiversity. Grounded in lived experience and evidence-based practice, the workshop explores the reasons behind distressed behaviour, offering practical strategies to prevent escalation and promote understanding.
Participants are invited to step into the world of an autistic person through a powerful Virtual Reality simulation bringing sensory processing differences to life in an unforgettable way.
We also explore the value of stimming and why it deserves acceptance and support.
An optional one-hour session on the Communication Passport is available as an add on, providing a personalised, rights-based tool to empower children across settings.
